Go behind the scenes in the Fountain Inn Police Department with the Citizen Police Academy!


The Fountain Inn Police Department’s Citizen Police Academy (CPA) is a free, eight-week, interactive community program designed to give residents a behind-the-scenes look at local law enforcement. Participants will learn how the department is structured, how officers are hired and trained, and how policing works in real-world situations through classroom instruction, demonstrations, and hands-on activities. The program fosters open communication, builds understanding, and strengthens relationships between the police department and the community.

Participants of the course are also eligible to serve on the Citizen's Review Committee.

Classes are held on Tuesdays from 6 - 8 pm, beginning on March 24, 2026 and ending on May 12, 2026.

An application is required to participate in this course.
