The Fountain Inn Police Department offers a Senior Watch Program. This program is to assist senior citizens who reside within the city, live alone, with no means or capacity to leave their home or do not have friends or family immediately available to check on their wellbeing. This program is intended to provide qualifying residents with a with a sense of security as well as comfort in knowing that assistance is coming should they become incapacitated.
How it works:Interested participants should contact the Fountain Inn Police Department at 864-862-4461 to communicate interest in the program. The Police dispatcher will set up a time to have a Community Patrol Officer or a Fountain Inn Fire Fighter make a home visit to meet the senior or disabled adult to complete the following items:
Compile an emergency information sheet
Complete the Vial of Life Package
Install participants lock box at primary entrance to the residence
Enter senior's information in the CAD database for use only in an emergency
